Being a resident of Tannersville, I have to say that this the most insightful site for a Hunter Mountain visitor. If your on our little mountain, this is where you'll find the things we like to do. This is the perfect place to find what keep us locals here. Enjoy and trust that what you find on this site is approved by someone who knows this little mountain's appeal.

does anyone remembers the family name of benjamin ?

I grew up in their house.One mile west of Tannersville,the best years of my life.
We played in the gravel banks and swam in the dam about a mile west of the house down in a hollow in the woods.My cousins,the Benjamins had 10 kids.We played in uncle Levi's old barn down aways from the house.We walked to town (Tannersville)to shop and get the mail.Next to the only stop light.Our girls worked in Manny's ice cream store.I worked as a dishwasher at the Bear & Fox Inn.Is it still there ?
